Since 2014, the aiticon summer party has been a date we look forward to all year. The focus is on one thing above all: time together as a team away from the screen.

Something for everyone

Having outgrown the barbecue area at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld, the location of the second aiticon office, this year we will celebrate in a real barbecue hat at the Mausenmühle. Surrounded by steep slopes and green meadows, Claus will give his best at the swinging grill again this year to fill up all the gourmets at aiticon. From grilled potatoes and vegan barbecue to steaks and spreads, there is something for every colleague. While steaks, potatoes and vegetables sizzle, everyone competes in ladder golf, corn hole and speed badminton before the evening ends with campfire light and home-brewed beer.

Climbing mountains together

The destination of this year's excursion the next day is the Nonnweiler dam. The breakfast-to-go has become a tradition: at the starting point of the hike, a first-class buffet awaits the group, as the hosts from the software development team, Matthias, Claus and Julian, serve up whatever the hiker's heart desires.

On the tour, our 14 hikers not only climb the Celtic ring wall and the highest mountain in the Saarland, but also discover a former ironworks and a wine bar in the middle of the forest. After the successfully completed eleven-kilometer hike, everyone can take a well-deserved seat at the restaurant table in St. Wendel and fortify themselves for the journey home. Between hiking stages and during breaks with a view, there is plenty of time to talk and enjoy the program together throughout the day and evening.

Hiking in the sunshine, good conversation and fine food - what more could you want? Thanks to the team in Hoppstädten-Weiersbach, we are already looking forward to next year!
